Frequently asked questions

Can we do the conformity assessment ourselves?
For products in the default category, usually yes – the CRA allows self-assessment (module A). For important (classes I and II) and critical products, involvement of a notified body may be required; we determine the right route based on the category.
Will you issue the declaration of conformity for us?
We prepare the complete EU declaration of conformity and all the supporting materials. The declaration itself is issued by the manufacturer under its own responsibility. We are not a notified body (CAB) – for products that require one, we prepare you for it and support the communication.
What must the CE marking include?
The CE marking is affixed visibly, legibly and indelibly to the product (or its packaging / documentation) and is accompanied by the prescribed information. We prepare specific instructions for your product.
